Nathan Earl Lawrie (born October 17, 1981) is a tight end for the NFL's New Orleans Saints.

Lawrie played football collegiately at Yale University, from where he graduated in 2004 with a degree in political science. Lawrie was a sixth-round draft pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that year and played primarily on special teams. The Saints claimed him off waivers near the end of the 2005 season. He is engaged to Romanian-born Smaranda Luca, the daughter of Val and Olga Luca. They are getting married in April of 2007 at Yale University where they met their freshman year. They currently live in downtown New Orleans, LA. His best friend in the whole world is his teddy bear Tubby. He also owes a debt of gratitude to Dan Thompson for his help in shaping Nate's solid work ethic in high school. Noah McDaniel is his role model and mentor in life and without him Nate would not have been able to sit at the lunchtable in highschool.
