  • While the Single Torn did reach the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks, it was stripped of its title and listed as it was when the album Left of the Middle was released because it was declared that a single could not be listed among the charts despite huge airplay before its release because it was just a sales gimmick the record label used to get it to debut at #1. Similar cases include Goo Goo Dolls Iris and No Doubt's Don't Speak. Torn was the number 11 song of the decade on the Billboards top songs of the 90s.

[edit] Promo singles

Other songs were used to promote in different parts of the world as radio singles.

Note: Peaks for "Torn" & "Wishing I Was There" are based on Hot 100 Airplay, as Imbruglia's singles were never commercially released in the U.S. "Torn" did enter the Hot 100 at #42 nearly one year after its release when airplay only tracks were allowed to chart, this was long after its peak. Mexican & Argentine Chart positions are based on Hot 100 Airplay Chart.
