This image is copyrighted. It was published online by the Brazilian Olympic Committee. This entity has released its image database free of any charge or restriction, so long as whomsoever uses it commits to use the material for the sole purpose of editorial coverage of the performance of Brazilian athletes. We believe that Wikipedia, as a non-profit organization that divulges information through its articles, is covered by the parameters set by the entity and is therefore authorized to use any image from the BOC in its articles. The copyright holder has, however, explicitly forbidden the use of the material for purely commercial purposes. Therefore, this image may be reproduced only in compliance with said parameters.
