[edit] underline

I've again removed the <u> from this template. It doesn't render correctly in IE 6 or IE 7 Beta 2. -- Mikeblas 01:19, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Correction, it doesn't render when you use the default Wiki CSS, that does not underline links. (It does work in IE 6 & Firefox when I am logged in, but not when logged out, therefore, css, not browser.) All the same, that is a valid complaint, and as such, the <u> tag is verbotten. How does it look now? -slowpokeiv 16:00, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
It renders OK for me. Is keeping the underline consistent with the other NASCAR driver templates? The other's I've seen don't have this section underlined (tho I can't find one to double-check right now.) -- Mikeblas 18:39, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
Hmm, it was in keeping with the others, but I hadn't noticed when they had changed... -slowpokeiv 02:57, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Just a thought. Shouldn't the three templates (nascar driver, nascar driver current and nascar deceased driver be combined into a single template? Pepto gecko 16:52, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

They have been, in Template:Infobox NASCAR driver, but are slow in being updated. -slowpokeiv 19:17, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
