Nasiruddin Wahid

Nasiruddin Wahid is a Bahrain-based NRI (Non-Resident Indian), who is the Chairman of India's East West Group. Mr.Wahid was one of the promoters of the now-defunct East-West Airlines, once upon a time one of the leading domestic aircraft carriers of India. As recently as 2003, there have been media reports that Mr.Wahid is in talks to start East-West's operations again. Nasiruddin Wahid is also the brother of the late Thakiyudeen Wahid, the assassinated East-West Managing Director.
