Nartkala

Nartkala (Russian: Нарткала) is a town in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Russia, located 25 km north-east of Nalchik at 43°33′27″N, 43°51′3″E. Population: 33,775 (2002 Census). Founded in 1913 as a railway station Dokshukino; town status granted in 1955. Renamed Nartkala in 1967.
