Narodnaya[1] (Romanization of Russian "Народная", Folk) is a brand of Russian vodka scheduled to be produced in different flavours (grain, wheat, rye, cedar and malty[2]) by federal public enterprise Rosspirtprom in 2007[3] to avoid 2006 local vodka substitute poisonings. The vodka is supposed to cost about 60 RUB (2.24 USD) by retail and 53 RUB (1.98 USD) wholesale for 0.5 litre.[4]
