Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Naria first appeared in the second episode of Kikôtei Densetsu. While Mukara fought the Troopers in his Black Armor, Naria was aware of the dangerous affects wearing the armor had. She tried to tell her beloved to stop fighting but Mukara's influence was easily swayed by the powers of the armor. In the Tauragi Village, the position of priestess (Naria) is low compared to the warrior status that Mukara maintained. So the villagers worshipped their armor wearing "god" and this left Naria no choice but to aid the Troopers.

In the last episode of the series, Naria and Byakuen tried to stop Ryo and Mukara from fighting one another. But their impacts destroyed the lands below them and one of those impacts slammed into Naria and Byakuen, obliterating them. Upon her death, Mukara finally realized what the armor had done to him. With the Troopers' help, he was able to regain his humanity, free himself from the armor, and most importantly, revive both Naria and Byakuen. In the end, it is assumed that Naria and Mukara marry and live happily ever after.

[edit] Manga and Dôjinshi Adaptations

Like many of the OVA characters, Naria does not appear in the manga. Naria appears in a few dôjinshi stories, mostly as Mukara's love. Her personality is pretty much unaltered.

  • Naria and Mukara are the only official couple in the YST/Ronin Warriors fandom.
