Narborough railway station is located on the Birmingham to Peterborough line, and serves the village of Narborough in Leicestershire. When built it was one of many rural stations built adjacent to the road with a level crossing. At the time, this would have been a useful feature, but nowadays Narborough is a busy suburb of the City of Leicester and a large traffic jam on the entrance to Narborough is common, due to waiting for approaching trains to clear the level crossing.

[edit] Service

From Narborough there is generally a hourly service each day towards Birmingham New Street westbound and Leicester eastbound.

In the peak hours there are occasional Central Trains CityLink services on the Birmingham to Cambridge and Stansted Airport route although most pass through Narborough station at fairly high speed.
