Narasarao Pet is a town of just over 100,000 (2002 census) located in the Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India. Its post code is 522601, STD Code is +91 8647. It is located 45 km from Guntur City and 250 km south east of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh.This city established in 18th century.It has been called as gateway of Palnadu. It is the headquarters of Revenue division of the west part of the district. Kotappakonda and Chejarla have been the important pious pilgrim centres located in its Assembly Constituency.It has been one of the education centres in the district. Its importance in the political field was created by Kasu Brahmananda Reddy, the former Chief Minister, who hailed from and represented this consistency
