[edit] Image Tagging Image:Penner.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Penner.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 19:13, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Timber

Worked for me when I looked at it, what res are you using? The BR Clear tags seemed to have it taken care of, changing heading levels shouldn't break anything. Night Gyr 07:01, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

never mind, I see the problem in the softwood section, the problem is that someone laid out the images with a table instead of letting the CSS handle it. That breaks spacing and makes things overlap. Night Gyr 07:04, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
The layout works now, I'll change the tables to wikiformatting sometime when I'm not lazy (probably never) because it's annoying busywork and there's probably some automatic tool out there to do it that I don't have. Night Gyr 07:08, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
Ah, I put on the break tags to force the images to stay in the upper section, but creating a bit of whitespace next to them as they finish displaying in the upper section is the price you pay. The solution is to put more text in, or move the images around so that they are balanced with the amount of text. Night Gyr 07:12, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
I tweaked it a bit, and took out an image that wasn't really about the wood, so it seems fine now, how's it for you? Night Gyr 07:19, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
yours has major issues for me, probably because my browser isn't as wide, so two images are actually displaying with about a 75% overlap. The image isn't getting nuked--it's still in use on sawmill--it just didn't seem extremely relevant or adding much besides clutter so I took it off. If you don't object, I'll revert. [edit] Final Fantasy

Hey, you broke the image on Final Fantasy. Please be more careful in future. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 08:21, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

My mistake. Sorry. I shouldn't edit when tired. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 20:46, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Lemonade2.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Lemonade2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
