Convention: Often made-for-television productions share the same name as other programs, series, movies, books or terms. When disambiguating a television production from something else, use (television) in the title when only one television production had that name, for example 24 (television) and The West Wing (television). Disambiguate further only if multiple articles using the following guidelines:

  • Episodes: the article name is the episode title, e.g. Bart the Genius. Only add the series name between parentheses if that is necessary because there are other articles by the same name, e.g. Fear of Flying (Simpsons).
