[edit] Kesennuma?

You might want to check the Kesennuma, Miyagi page. I added the template, but that's not a standard symbol. Hand-drawn, though. -William McDuff 09:12, 11 September 2005 (UTC)

I just redrew the Kesennuma symbol from the one found on the city's website. If you have any problems or requests, just let me know.

[edit] Japanese copyright status

Have you had any word yet on the copyright status of the Japanese municipal and prefectural sumbols? RNavigator 08:00, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Large amount of Japanese flags

I found a large collection of Japanese flags that I though might be of interest to you: [sv7.s3p.net/flag/miyagi.html link] -- Masamunecyrus(talk)(contribs) 14:28, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Flags of the World also has an excellent index of Japanese prefectural and municipal flags: [1] Note that images from either of these sources have to be redrawn before they can be used in Wikipedia. -- Himasaram 12:17, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Japanese prefectural flags at Commons

Commons already has a few (ten to be exact) symbols/logos of Japanese prefectures, sorted under commons:Category:Flags of Japan. -- Himasaram 12:20, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
