Does anybody know more about these proofs (worth, cataloguing)? I can't find them in any catalogue.

[edit] Meaning of 'Probe / Essai'

The meaning of both 'Probe' and 'Essai' is 'Trial', not 'Proof'. The word 'Probe' is from the German language and 'Essai' is from the French language. - (192.190.108.19 02:14, 12 February 2006 (UTC))
