Namu Doll

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Namu is the first male counterpart created for the popular Pullip doll. Namu stood at approximately 30 cm tall, and had an oversized head with an articulated body. Namu had all of the head and body articulation of Pullip, but was not very popular. Namu was retired in May 2005, when he and pullip 'broke up'. While this has been attributed to many things, from poor face painting to the head sculpt, the eventual result was that the Namu doll was discontinued. Over a year later, a completely different male doll TaeYang was released to become Pullip's new boyfriend.
