Namsosbanen or Namsos Line is a 51 km long railway line between Grong and Namsos in Nord-Trøndelag, Norway.[1] The construction of the railway started in 1922 and it was opened on November 1, 1923. The passenger traffic on the line was closed in 1978 and the freight services followed in 2002, though it was considered reopened for lumber transport in 2005. [2]
