Nam Hyun Joon, often referred to as Poppin' Hyun Joon or Happy Hyun Joon, is a famous Korean contemporary dancer. He is best known for his unique popping techniques.

[edit] Rise to Fame

He debuted as a member of the Young Turks Club in 1998. Since then, he has been in several dance groups, including Cyborg, FREEZE and Newest35 (leader: former H.O.T member Jang Woo Hyuk).

His skill and smooth moves gained recognition from many Korean celebrities such as V.O.S's Choi Hyun Joon. He was heavily influenced by the dance group Seo Taiji and Boys. Lee Juno from this group taught Joon and featured him in Juno's music video Amen.

In 2005 Joon released a song, titled Sajahoo (Korean for 'Lion's Roar'). He steadily gained popularity in Korea and performed at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He is currently in a dance group called Nam Hyun Joon and Kids, which plays on the name of Seo Taiji and Boys.

Joon has a close personal relationship with Korean actor Lee Jun Ki.
