Nallatech

Nallatech is a Scottish computer hardware and software firm based in Cumbernauld in North Lanarkshire, Scotland that specializes in and is one of the world leaders in field-programmable gate array microchip technology applied in computing.
Nallatech was founded by Allan Cantle, now the company's president and founder, in 1993 and is backed by over £4m of equity finance provided by Scottish Equity Partners and 3i.
Nallatech is a member of a Scottish group known as the FPGA High Performance Computing Alliance, which is working on a supercomputer to challenge industry leaders.
The US market for FPGA computers is estimated to be three years ahead of that in Europe and is growing at 40% per year. For the past decade, Nallatech has been at the forefront of technological and market innovation within the FPGA market.
Nallatech's business is expanding around the world, as global markets become ever more tightly linked by innovative technology and by the increasingly global needs of their customers. Nallatech's direct sales team operates in two main geographic areas, one in the USA and one in UK covering UK, Europe and rest of the world. The team in the USA (Nallatech, Inc.) is headquartered in Eldersburg, Maryland.
