Would this not be better placed at Hadaka Matsuri? "Naked festival" is a very broad term, and could be interpreted to referring not only to these observances in Japan, but to any number of stupid fraternity traditions or whatever. Right? In order to make the article's title more culturally specific, it should be placed at the Japanese title. LordAmeth 23:55, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

I am indifferent personally. I did a quick Google search before creating the article ... "Naked festival" has more hits than "hadaka matsuri" and all of the hits on the first few pages at least were about hadaka matsuri, not about other events. As to whether it's a "broad term" I don't know ... again, personally I've never heard of a "naked festival" referring to anything but a hadaka matsuri, so I'm not sure it's any more broad in English than it is in Japanese. When in doubt, I tend to favor the English term for this kind of thing as it's more accessible for non-Japanophiles. But if others favored a move, I would not be against it.
