Najafgarh

Najafgarh is located at the outskirts of New Delhi, India. In the southwestern part of Delhi, it is a mixture of Jat ,Yadav and Brahmin populations.
Najafgarh has the distinction of being the most populous electorial region in the National Capital Region of India. Most of the colonies are not well planned but it is surrounded by a lot farm houses owned by celebrities or businessmen. Mr. Sajjan Kumar is the Member of Parliament from Outer Delhi and Chairman of the Rural Development Board.
Najafgarh has about 70 villages bordering Haryana.It also includes A Holy Place of Bhagwan BABA HARIDAS , CRPF Group Centre in Jharoda Kalan, Tample of Sai Baba. It is also having one of the Dilli Darwaja meaning gate to Delhi.
While traveling from Bhadurgarh to Gurgaon one has to travel through Najafgarh. Najafgarh is well connected to all parts of Delhi via bus service. It is less than 20 Kms (via main routes) from both Delhi national / international airports.
A Famous Indian Cricketer from Najafgarh is Virender Sehwag who is currently a member of the national cricket team of India. Jain brothers involved in stock trade scam also belonged to Najafgarh.
