Naicam, Saskatchewan

Naicam is a small town in Rural Saskatchewan. It is located 224 Kilometers north of the provinces capital city, Regina. Highways that intersect Naicam are highway No. 6 and No. 349. Naicam is on the 52.2 line of latitude and the 104.5 line of Longitude. In 2001 the population was 761.[1]

Naicam has its own weekly newspaper "The Naicam News". It also receives several radio stations from both Saskatoon and Regina. The local Television Cable company for the Naicam area is "Image Cable". Sasktel covers the area with their propritary cell phone service.[2]

The Town of Naicam offers Water, Sewer and Power to all of its households and busineses.

Naicam is provided with provencial bus service by local Saskatchwan company STC ("Saskatchewan Transit Company") Highways that service naicam are Can-Am Highway No. 6 and Provincial Highway No. 349. There is a local airstrip located adjacent to the town.
