Nadine Trintignant

Nadine Trintignant (born Nadine Marquand) is a French cineast and author, born in Nice in 1934. She is also a film director, producer, and screenwriter with extensive film credits from the 1960s to the present.

She's the sister of Christian Marquand, the wife of Jean-Louis Trintignant(married 1960-1976) and the mother of Marie Trintignant, who was killed in 2003. She had two other children with Jean-Louis, a son Vincent and a daughter Pauline. Pauline died in 1970 at age 9.

She wrote a book after her daughter Marie died.
