NaDa is a fake-satirical software that "does nothing, but does it very well."
"NaDa does nothing for everybody"
NaDa is actually a useless and otherwise harmless empty file, one byte small (a newline), compressed and available for download from the "official site."
The site is designed to look like an actual professional programming company site, complete with users' testimonials, legal disclaimers, advertisements, etc. The NaDa page actually belongs to the professional site of a graphic artist, Bernard Bélanger. The testimonials are written by "fans" who decided to mail him. The site is near a million visitors.

The "official" site advertises that NaDa has the following advantages:
- No computer viruses
- No computer bugs
- It's free
- It does what it does (nothing), very well
- Various download options from the main page (zip, RAR, tar, etc.)
- You can even delete it, and it still continues to do nothing
- Light size
- Doesn't strain RAM or CPU
- No requirements, compatible with all operating systems
- It's such a new and simple concept, 'like a world without wars' that will make you feel good.

NaDa's version goes countdown. Current version is 0.5 (improvement over the 0.9 for Mac), and work is being done on 0.0.

One of the users claims that "I installed NaDa™ and to my surprise it did something!!! I don't know what it did but it did something and now I don't know what to do? I tried to just forget about it but I couldn't. Please help me. Please?"
This is the only known bug.
