[edit] Copyright details
Hey, good to see your work on the towns of Western Australia. I am just concerned that you seem to have copied [[1]] for your article on Yilgarn, Western Australia. Would you please share your justification? Thanks again for your contributions. -Fermion 03:17, 21 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Lake Grace
Thanks for the article on Lake Grace, appreciated. Remy B 13:43, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Rail Issues
G'day. Vcxlor here. I dont know what info you have to hand, but it would be agood idea to track down geoff highams work as his book which is a list of every rail location + more, would be a good start. If you belong to the arhs, the weekly notices in the library, or a full set of westland would be good too. I have no idea what you might or might not have. I have many clues if you wish.vcxlor 11:54, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Forest River
Hi & thanks for your encouragement. I have flagged Forest River Mission as needs verified and I will add a request on the Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board. Cheers. IanBailey 05:24, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Grafitti
Good catch on gosnells well done, Keep up the good work Gnangarra 14:55, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] suburb maps
I feel these big wa maps with a small red blob in the corner quite disturbing, any suggestions? i suppose its a well intentioned person from elsewhere (now there's an art i havent done yet, elsewhere) but not very useful? vcxlor 15:12, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
- I came across your conversation and thought you both may be interested in http://www.placeopedia.com/ I've been adding WA articles to it recently and love the way they appear in seconds on Google earth. Probably not ideal for linking from wikipedia itself but for me it's pretty amazing seeing the actual places from satelite pics. Cheers. SeanMack 14:10, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
wow, here i'm trying to make the wiki break a definite one, and another project jumps up1 When I'm back in december I'll try to deal with this one vcxlor 14:36, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] wa transport cat
I am pretty sure in my contribs there must be a good couple of additions, like great eastern highway, and a number of railway ones as well vcxlor 05:25, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Sources for Bakers Hill, Western Australia
Hello, good work on Bakers Hill, Western Australia, and thanks for the contribution. However, you forgot to add any references to the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. What websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to Bakers Hill, Western Australia? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? Thank you very much. - SimonP 05:26, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Prospector
Hey dude, just a quick note to say brilliant pic of the Prospector. SeanMack 05:11, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Eastern Railway
Good to see some editing on the monolith - dontcha reckon we ought to have a seperate article for east of northam?? i noticed the big money stuff at the bottom - thought maybe we need 'eastern railway' part 2 or something? I mean when I get carried away and start adding all the stopping places on version 1 and 2 of the eastern railway to kal - it will need to be a list anyways.. :) cheers vcxlor 14:09, 15 December 2005 (UTC) humbarrassed, just realised we had egr (northam to kal) in the system already!vcxlor 14:11, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcome back. Here to cause trouble again! Yup I think the egr starts at northam. anyways the egr article looks like it could do with a good spring cleaning - go for it! vcxlor 14:25, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Wickham
I was wondering if you had any more pictures of Wickham. When I was a young pup my family and myself moved there, the same year they opened the primary school. I lived there for four years before we moved back to the U.S. and have many good memories of the place. I can be contacted at rhill@wluctv6.com. Or if you know of another site that might have pictures. Many thanks.
[edit] islands
The Cape Leeuwin/St Alouarn Islands probably might interest you as well, simply had them on the geo category so far. vcxlor 13:58, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Yagan
Thanks, the new images are great. If you're ever in the Upper Swan area, I'd love an image of Yagan's alleged burial location. I can tell you exactly where it is if you're interested. Snottygobble | Talk 08:05, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
- Yagan is now a featured article. Thanks again for the excellent images. Drew (Snottygobble) | Talk 00:17, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Shenton Park
I noticed that on the Shenton Park, Western Australia article, you said that Shenton Park is located within the City of Nedlands. This was later changed to include the City of Subiaco. I was just wondering why you thought that Shenton Park was located in the City of Nedlands, as i cannot find any evidence to support this. Maybe it used to be or maybe i am missing something? --Ali K 09:47, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Causeway Picture

[edit] How?
How are images from the Commons linked to Wikipedia, because i just uploaded six images there. Relply ASAP on my talk page if possible. Thankyou--M W Johnson 11:25, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the help. I tried to enter in Image:Perth Station though, and it didn't work. Do you know what's happening here?--M W Johnson 11:56, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Images
Thanks for the tip on licencing for my uploaded images. As silly as it sounds, I still don't really understand the whole wikipedia images/commons images/sharealike/shareattrib/etc. I guess if I actually spent a bit more than 5 minutes reading the documentation it might help. By the way, you are a Western Australian Wikipedian Machine(tm). It no longer suprises me when I see your name in, well, anything I look at even remotely WA related. Good stuff. JAW 01:54, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] G'day
I've only just started loading images from commons today, first try is with Chippers Leap which I'll have to pass by snotty/drew for some extra details (seeing he is into things from the 1800's at the moment) when he is around! Now that I have a handle on uploading, I'll be able to plumb the depths of my ancient rail photo collections! Wow, you wont believe some of it! Keep up the good work!SatuSuro 14:38, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

- :) I think by the way things are going I will need quite a lot of advice re commons, I've more problems than I can hope for! Thanks for your advice so far. As for rotto, if you've got any input on the extra list article, please! Ian was sounding "dubious" about having it, so other input is always appreciated - I was editing Mahogany Creek this morning, thinking it looks familiar - and I'm the only editor to date :( , any extra photos anywhere much appreciated!! SatuSuro 04:37, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your images
I just had a look through your image gallery you've got some wonderful picture there. Hope you dont mind I going to add some to articles where they will enhance the page Gnangarra 14:50, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Timetables for A-Series trains
Hello Nachoman-au. I see that the A-Series trains still operate on the Joondalup line in peak times. Just wondering if you know if the A-Series are ONLY in express peak hour on the Joondalup line, or do they still operate in the middle of the day on weekdays?--M W Johnson 00:53, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Robin Miller
Thanks for the shout! I really enjoyed writing that article. I'd never heard of Robin Miller till I went to the airport and then came home and did a bit if digging. I was mighty impressed I must say, real shame she died so young but she defo left a legacy... BTW that placeopedia thing I mentioned before is kinda obsolete now (if you were interested in the whole mapping - google earth thing? This seems to be the way foward at the minute: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Geographical_coordinates Cheers SeanMack 13:48, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 19 march 2006
Hey just i case you missed the signs around the place theres bikeride thingie on the freeway from perth to Joondalup on the 19th you might be able to walk through some of the roads closures to get picts of the joondalup train line from road level. Gnangarra 10:00, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rail Trail
Please help - should it be 'Railway Reserve Heritage Trail, Western Australia' or 'Railway Reserve Heritage Trail (Western Australia) ? Used to go random art searching, and got very hot under collar about US locations with no mention of the country - then realised that had created arts like this one! Embarrassed. SatuSuro 10:32, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Vh-njl.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

- The Midland issue - articles and names etc - was a bit of a nightmare when creating the m.j. r.station - as the train people who do the midland railways station (current) had to be avoided when referring to the old station - thanks for the extra pic there! SatuSuro 11:58, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

- Accorrding to some I pollute others talk pages (heheh)- no need to reply in a hurry thanks for the heads up - very good work with the piccies - keep it up!

[edit] Hi
Noticed you've been working on many articles that I have on my watch list - you've been hard at work! I was wondering when youre doing them if you could check their talk pages for WP Australia|WA=yes if they are west oz arts? It would be great if you could, otherwise you might get the feeling that I'm following ( which only happens because the arts youve been doing are on the watch list that I have...) anyways - have a good christmas if I dont harrass you again - keep up the good work! SatuSuro 09:57, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WP:WA
Good call with the comet image, I have been trying to cycle a few images to inspire our crew. Yours could not be more appropriate. Do you have some thoughts on an regular image/s section for the main page? Cheers, Fred 02:55, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

I go pass very regularly.. SatuSuro 03:42, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
