Nachman Kahane

Rabbi Nachman Kahane, a graduate of the Novardok yeshiva, is a rabbinic scholar and the rabbi of the 'Young Israel' congregation of the Jewish settlers in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City. He is currently (2006) working on an interpretation of the Tosafot of the Talmud called "Mei Menuchot" (Restful Waters). He is also the director of the Institute for Talmudic Commentaries and has created a database of reliable Kohanim in Israel. He is also the brother of Rabbi and JDL leader Meir Kahane.

As of 2006, he is involved in an attempt to reestablish the Sanhedrin.
