Naboomspruit

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Naboomspruit is a town in the Limpopo province of South Africa. It was established in 1910 after tin was discovered here and later platinum. Naboomspruit is named after the profusion of euphorbia trees (naboom) growing on the banks of a nearby stream (spruit). The town was officially renamed Mookgophong in 2002, but the original name appears to have been retained since.
