Nabeeh Al-Ibrahim

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nabeeh Al-Ibrahim (Arabic:نبيه الابراهيم) is a current Saudi politician and a well-known contractor. He was born in Awamia, Qatif, and graduated from King Saud University.

Al-Ibrahim won the Saudi Arabia municipal elections, 2005 in Qatif, Eastern Province. Al-Ibrahim is also a current employee of Saudi Aramco. Additionally, he owns Al-Ibrahim Surveying & Engineering Group. Having two occupations and the possibility of conflict of interest, Al-Ibrahim was faced by much criticism. However, since the majority of the Saudi public is not familiar with such concepts, they considered him being a civil engineer a suitable candidate, especially when taking into consideration the fact that the Saudi elections are not related to politics as much as urban development.
