[edit] Adverbial Profanity
I am quite new to Wikipedia and am not quite sure how this all works. Recently, I saw a lot of filthy language within an article about a country, but before I could even figure out how to edit, the page had been revised.
This time, I found the profanity listed as expletives within the article on Adverbs. Certainly our English language is large enough to substitute less offensive words, and the Wikipedia policies expressively forbid profanity and obscenities.
I did figure out how to revert the article on the history page, yet within seconds I received the "BlatantTest" message that I had vandalised the article and may be blocked. The article was instantly reverted back to the current one with profanity! The person who added the profanity vandalised the article.
Please explain.
