[edit] License tagging for Image:Adaptive logo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Adaptive logo.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:05, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikify

Please note that the Wikipedia manual of style says the subject of the article is bolded on only the first occurence. jimfbleak 05:49, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Madeira

Sure, but that would be repeating the same thing twice in one paragraph, which is a stylistic no-no. Pawel z Niepolomic 22:18, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your VandalProof Application

Dear N3c,

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. - Glen 11:30, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
