N. Trance is a character in the Crash Bandicoot series. He is a bad egg from the 5th dimension.His name is a play on the word "entrance," meaning "to put into a trance." This is evidenced by the fact that he hypnotizes other characters into joining him.

[edit] Overview
N. Trance is a being of the 5th Dimension. He is a master of hypnosis, and a friend of N. Tropy. In Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, Tropy enlisted him to brainwash the Bandicoots and use them as slaves. Crash managed to get to Trance and N. Tropy, and N. Trance was later defeated by the hero.
He later entered Velo's Galaxy Circuit in Crash Nitro Kart, with Polar, Pura and Dingodile under his control. Spyro the Dragon was also a member of his team. He has not been seen since.
He was originally to appear in Crash Twinsanity according to concept art, but this decision was apparently dropped.

He is pink and egg-shaped. To move, he has a removable robot boy, and two golden arms. Sometimes, one of the arms ends in a clock.

When his removable and replacable arms are removed, he can hover through the air. In this form, he can shoot two kinds of energy projectiles. The one is a huge ball of energy, that will disturb everyone who's hit by them, like projecting fake copies of himself everywhere). The others are just deadly enegy balls. His clock can brainwash everyone he wants.
