N-Toon

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

N-Toon was a boy band from Atlanta created by former Klymaxx frontwoman Joyce Irby in 1996. She searched through Atlanta phonebooks and found Lloyd Polite, Justin Clark and Everett Hall at a well known church in the city. Keithian Sammons joined the group later under the advisor of local music executive. Lloyd's younger brother Charles "Chucky" Reynolds later joined the group. All of the members were between the ages of nine and thirteen.

Citing influences such as the Backstreet Boys and Jackson Five, N-Toon has also appeared on Radio Disney's Peanut Butter n' Jam Summer Concert in the Park series. Their debut Toon Time was released on Dreamworks in March 2001. Lloyd Polite Jr. is now a solo artist, recording with dirty south producer Jazzy Pha. He released his debut album Southside in 2004. Keithian Sammons is an accomplished actor-singer/songwriter appearing in several movies and tv guest spots. He has recently signed to Virgin Records and working on a solo project. Everett Hall attends college at Savannah State University and is currently working on a gospel project under the name E.Hall. Justin Clark appeared on the reality show American Idol and is now working on an inspirational album as "Church Boy".
