Núrn

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Núrn was a region in the realm of Mordor in J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional world of Middle-earth. It held the inland sea of Núrnen, and was fertile enough to support farming to support the armies of Sauron, as opposed to the arid plateau of Gorgoroth. It was inhabited by slaves, who were granted freedom in this land by Aragorn after the overthrow of Sauron.
