You're not doing Muslims any favour by acting like a stubborn child. The only point you're getting across is that Muslims are intolerant fanatics. Is that what you're trying to achieve? --Frescard 05:05, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
the islamic page doesnt show totally the true teachings which we believe in....it doesnt talk
abt love,, mercy,, peace and these high morals..it doesnt describe its primary teachings and
stuff like that...just laws and schools and kinda of these secondary stuff.hopefully u got ma
point and plz understand...these websites help a lot i guess in giving the neseccary info from
all the sides for the users or the readers who wanna know some info in an easy way.....
i no iam may b a naughty user but thats the way it is ...iam not going to stop adding the
links and iam sorry for that.Peace --Myxamea
I understand that you may not be perfectly happy with the Islam pages as they are, but believe me, *most* people aren't happy with the pages about their favorite subject (be it religion, political parties or soccer teams)...;)
Since Wikipedia tries to show both sides of every issue, there will always be people who have a different opinion from your own. And probably even opinions that you find totally ridiculous. But if those opinions exist, then they will end up on the article pages, whether it offends some people or not.
I personally find the subjects of A LOT of pages on Wikipedia absolutely outrageous. But I also know that there are people who do believe that stuff, and for whom it is important. So, because of that, those pages have "a right" to exist, whether I agree with them or not.
If you feel there are aspects missing in certain articles, then I'm sure real contributions will be very much appreciated. But they should fit into the style of the article, and within the guidelines of Wikipedia. A lot of the people that reverted your changes are Muslims themselves, and try to present the Islam page in as positive a light as possible. I know, because I had lots of "fights" with them getting critical aspects into the article. But even they found your additions inappropriate. So - if you could make those contributions a bit more readable, I'm sure they would keep them.
(For example, if you look at the discussion I had with Zazaban -one of the users that kept reverting you- you will see that he was not very happy at all with having a critical section on the Islam page, but even he found your submissions inappropriate. So it's not just "Islam-enemies" that disagree with you.)
Just submitting the same content over and over again, despite it being reverted by all kinds of people is not gonna work in the long run. Sure, you can keep on opening new accounts, but that will become very tiresome and time-consuming after a while, especially if your IP-Number (or range) will get blocked. Once a bunch of moderators put the Islam pages on their watch lists you will get reverted and blocked within minutes. For them (and there will be quite a few) reverting or blocking you takes a few seconds. For you, on the other hand, it'll become a full-time job for you to keep up with it. Time much better spent submitting *real* content to the article. Stuff that actually contains interesting information for people who are curious about Islam. I think you could serve your faith a lot better doing that, rather than annoying a bunch of moderators as well as fellow (Muslim) editors.
If you have questions as to what is appropriate or not, feel free to contact me. There are also a few excerpts of the most important guidelines on my talk page, so you might want to check that to avoid getting in trouble again...
Thanks, and I hope you'll become a productive Wikipedian! :) --Frescard 02:36, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
