The Mystic Theurge is a fictional prestige class from the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. Introduced in the Dungeon Master's Guide v3.5, it is a blend of the arcane and divine spellcaster abilities.
The Mystic Theurge class gives no proficiencies, and has only one class feature, it increases the character's effective level in one arcane and one divine spellcasting class that she already has, for the purpose of calculating spells per day. Unfortunately, it does not affect any other features of those classes so that a Wizard, for example, will not gain any bonus meta-magic or item creation feats, and her familiar will not become more powerful.
