Mystic Prophecy is a power metal band from Germany. They have been described as having a similar sound to US-power metal, such as bands like Iced Earth (due to the riffing), but still without losing the melodies of "european power metal".

Formed by Valley's Eve bandmates R.D. Liapakis and Martin Albrecht. Gus G. was recommended to them by David T. Chastain. He played all guitars on the three first albums, but left in 2005 to spend more time on his other band Firewind.

According to their homepage, the band has already written songs for the follow up to "Savage Souls", they are planning to enter the studio in February 2007. The release of the album is scheduled for October/November - 2007, though.
