Myrkky

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Myrkky (Finnish for "poison") is a comic book published by the Finnish branch of the Nordic publisher Egmont. The comic deal mainly with toilet humour, including sexual, toilet, and farting jokes. Myrkky was originally a Finnish version of the Norwegian comic book Pyton, which has since been discontinued.

Regular strips in Myrkky include Myyntimies Mynttinen, Pera Pervo and Firkin the Cat.

Perhaps the most famous cartoonist whose work appears in Myrkky is the British Hunt Emerson. However, most of the strips are drawn by Finnish cartoonists. Regular Finnish cartoonists include Santtu Liima, Armas Salakka and Samson.
