Myliobatiformes

Myliobatiformes Compagno, 1973 is a proposed order of rays. It is a sister group to Rajiformes, the true rays, and contains the following families:
- Dasyatidae (sting rays)
- Gymnuridae (butterfly rays)
- Mobulidae (Manta rays)
- Myliobatidae (eagle rays)
- Potamotrygonidae (river stingrays)
- Rhinobatidae (guitarfishes)
The FishBase taxonomy however places all these families in the order Rajiformes.
