My Tutor is a 1983 film directed by George Bowers. It stars Matt Lattanzi, Caren Kaye, Kevin McCarthy and Crispin Glover in his first film role.

Lattanzi plays Bobby, a high school student whose father (McCarthy) is determined to send him to Yale University. However, Bobby fails his French final and his father resorts to hiring a tutor, Terry (Kaye), for the summer. As the summer unfolds, Bobby and Terry develop an amorous relationship that ends when Bobby passes a predetermined make-up exam. Bobby does not want to honor his father's wishes and by the end of the film determines to follow his own course.
