[edit] Episode overview
J.D. and Elliot are having problems because J.D. just dumped her. J.D. and Elliot start a competition for Dr. Cox's decision for Chief Resident, but in the end he gives the position to both of them. Dr. Cox and Turk start fighting because Turk steals Dr. Cox's thunder by giving his patient good news. Molly starts doing a study on conflict, and this is the main theme of the episode. People start going to her for advice instead of Carla, and this makes her both jealous and mad. By the end, Turk and Dr. Cox collaborate on a patient (along with the janitor)and end up friends again because of some of Molly's advice. In the end they work together to prank Kelso, who stole their thunder by taking credit for their work. Turk talks to Molly about letting Carla give some of the advice and J.D. and Elliot end up having to forget their problems because a patient starts coding. They end up talking a little but ultimately Elliot is still mad.
[edit] Trivia
- When Molly fixes The Todd, she tells Carla that it will probably only last a week. Referencing the fact that its a sitcom, and things will be exactly the same next episode, which would of course be screened in a week.
- Dr. Molly Clock is named after one of the shows medical advisers, Dr. Dolly Klock.
