It will be released as the third single from Ciara's second album Ciara: The Evolution. The release was confirmed on the radio station Hot 97 in Atlanta.^[1] The video will be directed by Sophie Muller. "My Love" pertains to a woman's deep and affectionate feelings towards her neglecting boyfriend, and how he's going to miss out on her love. The song states pharses like "See boy you had a keeper, but you didnt know how to treat her."
