It's Scurvy Prevention Week in Endsville, and everybody is sucking lemons and limes. With Scurvy Prevention Week, however, comes the Little Miss Scurvy Pageant, and after being insulted by Mindy, Mandy agrees to enter.

Although seemingly only entering to spite Mindy (who was Little Miss Rickets last year and Little Miss Toejam the year before), Mandy seems to care about her appearance. After some initial disbelief from Grim and Billy, Grim enlists the help of Crabina, the "Underworld's premier makeover artist" After an analysis, Crabina declares that, unless Mandy can learn to smile, she's got no chance at winning

Billy, Grim, and Crabina all attempt to make Mandy smile up until the day of the pageant. When Mandy still hasn't cracked by the time of the contest, the rest despair.

The contest starts, judged by General Skarr, Cap'n Greengums, and Mindy's mom. There are numerous competitions, ranging from swimsuit to a gom jabbar.

Finally comes the talent competition. Mandy sings "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz, clearly suffering from the fact that she wishes to smile, but cannot.

At the end of the song, she, at last, smiles, and the force "disturbs the natural order," causing reality to fall apart.

Billy, Mandy, and Grim wake up as the Powerpuff Girls, and answer a call for help by the Mayor, signifying just how badly reality shook from Mandy's smile.

[edit] End Credits

In Mojo Jojo's lair on the top of Volcano Mountain, Irwin appears. He's dressed like Mojo, and he's having trouble breathing in the tight costume. Irwin loosens the costume and his belly bursts.

[edit] Continuity Errors

  • Billy claims that Mandy has never smiled. However, she smiled in the first episode, Meet the Reaper, and in the several others (see the list of Mandy's smiles), even thought technically it was an evil smirk. However, this is the first time that she smiled of her own free will. If that was the case, then his statement would be true.
