[edit] Edit by 74.67.10.238

Yahiko's name comes from a temple on Mt. Yahiko and in any case, it's not "evidence" of a future romance between Yahiko and Tsubame. Therefore, I've decided to move 74.67.10.238's edit to the discussion page. Seven 07:36, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Further evidence of a future romance between Myojin Yahiko and Sanjo Tsubame is the source of their names. Yahiko's name seems to come from Mt. Yahiko in Japan. Naming male strong characters in manga seems popular (take Hiei, from "YYH", using Mt. Hiei as a skilled fighter's name).

Here is a paragraph from a review of Yahiko Station. [1]...

As I made my way to JR Yahiko Station, first on the Joetsu Shinkansen outbound service from Tokyo and then on the two-carriage train of the Yahiko Line from Tsubame-sanjo Station, I could see Mt. Yahiko loom as I looked out the left window and then the right as the train weaved through the valleys.

Note the naming of Yahiko Station and the mention of his sweetheart's name... Tsubame-sanjo.

[edit] Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu - Katachi

Wondering if we should edit in the 'Katachi' Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu technique that's exhibited in the short story 'Yahiko no Sakabatou'. I believe the story is considered cannon, since it aligns with all plot devices from the 'body' of the manga.

Any in favor? Kishyotai 14:38, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
