Mutt (humans)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The word mutt may be used to describe a person of multiracial descent. It usually refers to people whose lineage contains more than one ethnic group (e.g. half-African and half-Caucasian), but may also be used to describe individuals whose ancestors come from a variety of cultures, even if they share the same race (e.g. half-Swedish, half-German). The word is used colloquially, not scientifically, and stems from the word mutt being a synonym for mixed-breed dog.
When used to describe a person, mutt is generally considered to be quite offensive, regardless of the context.
