Mutable Realms

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mutable Realms was an independent video game developer that specialized in Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs). They coined the term Ultra Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, or UMMORPG, for a game that can support over 10,000 simultaneous players in a shardless, zoneless environment.

Mutable Realms' most anticipated game was Wish, which was set to be released in the second quarter of 2005. Unfortunately, the project was cancelled due to low subscriber number projections (not issues with the projected monthly subscription price). Parts of Wish are now being sold off, including models, art, and sound. Some of which can be found in use in the game Irth Online.
