What is the "Music of the United Kingdom" thing for. This is supposed to be an article about the music of the island of Ireland, Republic and UK, it would be nice if people could leave politics out of it. There's no need for it really. 212.64.98.189 00:35, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What does this mean?

In addition to folk music, Ireland also has a rich store of contemporary classical music. However contemporary classical music has no impact, and very little exposure in Ireland itself, and therefore abroad. The two sentences are contradictory, although I'm not completely certain what the second sentence is even saying. I have a hard time imagining that there is no impact.--RLent 21:40, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
