Mustard Plug is a ska punk band from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

They're known for happy-sounding third wave ska music. Their songs usually include raspy vocals, fast singing, sing-along choruses, an upstroke guitar technique, distorted guitars, power chords, walking basslines, 4/4 drumming, and catchy horn parts. They were among the earliest American punk bands in the 1990s to fuse ska with punk.

Formed in 1991, the band's original members were Dave Kirchgessner, Mike McKendrick, Colin Clive, and Anthony Vilchez. As of 2007, the band consisted of Dave (Vocals), Brandon Jenison (trumpet), Jim Hofer (trombone), Nate Cohn (drums), Colin Clive (guitar/vocals), and Rick Johnson (bass). The band has regularly toured throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and South America. They have toured with the Warped Tour twice, and participated in the Ska Against Racism Tour.

Their Masterpieces CD combines old songs with new recordings, without the use of a Digital Audio Workstation. On July 27, 2006, the band announced on their website that they will soon be releasing a new album.
