Music Must Change is a rock song by british rock group The Who. It is from the 1978 album Who Are You. The song was originally part of Townshend's rock opera lifehouse.

The recording on the album is actually Pete Townshend's demo with Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle adding their parts. Keith Moon's only contribution is a few cymbal crashes as he couldn't handle the song's 6/8 time, additional percussion included Townshend recording his footsteps and a rolling milk bottle.
