Music Is Rotted One Note is the third full album released by Tom Jenkinson, aka Squarepusher, on UK electronica label Warp.
Following the abrasive sounds of Hard Normal Daddy and the drum and bass feel of the Big Loada EP, Music Is Rotted One Note had a far more relaxed sound, owing much to jazz music. Eschewing a totally digital approach, many of the tracks feature Jenkinson's virtuoso playing on the drums and bass guitar.
The album has been described as lo-fi. This release may also be viewed as an example of modern jazz, or progress made from later efforts of jazz-fusion.
