Mushroom tea
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mushroom tea is an infusion made by gently simmering indigenous psychedelic liberty cap mushrooms. The active ingredient in the mushrooms is psilocybin.
This is generally done by placing the mushroom matter in a filter, such as a piece of panty hose. The water is boiled and the panty hose is dipped into the water. The filter is then placed between two spoons and pressed in order to obtain more psilocybin. This is repeated several times. The leftover mushroom matter, or "grog", is then either thrown away, or ingested in order to heighten the dose.
The resulting tea is often mixed with other drinks in order to dilute the bitter taste.
One method is to grind the mushrooms in a coffee maker equipped with a grinder. The coffee maker is actually then used to brew the tea.
