[edit] Plans for the future

In November 2006, the Dallas Railway Museum won a city bond election. This bond gave them the start to begin plans for a new museum. The new museum is going to be modeled after a large passenger station in the heyday of railroading. As such, all the equipment is going to be indoors, protecting them all from the the elements. A presentation that shows what they plan for, called Visions 2006, can be viewed on the museum website.
